Hey there,
I have created a custom list for my employer - it deals with dispatching and scheduling employees. There are currently 6 drop downs for a crew selection - each drop down points to a secondary data source (Employee Master List).
So they select the date of the job and the crew assigned to the job (it will be a running ongoing list, day after day week after week etc).
I need the user to be notified if they have already selected an employee for a job on that particular date.
I have searched the internet but have not found a solution, but maybe I wouldn't know it if I seen it!
So if an employee has been scheduled for that specific date it will notify the user (ideally in real time, not by email). I have infopath and designer, using office 360.
Help!!
