I'd like to create a workflow that when a comment is added, the comment is checked to see if it has a particular URL included. If it does, it will copy the last 5 digits of the URL (the REQ#) and append them to the XLS attachment file name after reformatting it to: Request - [APP NAME] - [REQ#]. Usually there are two attachments, two different file types. I want to edit only the XLS with the request # that was added in a comment.
Currently the workflow is set to email the owner of the item when a comment is made. I'd like to add the functionality above to that.
I'm very new to SharePoint Designer and am having a headache trying to interact with our SP site. Any guidance would be much obliged!
