Situational description:
I am running sharepoint 2007 (sorry) and I have created a list to keep track of changes to our technical documentation.
There are 2 lists
- Customized list with procedure change requests
- Workflow tasks lists.
The primary workflow runs on the procedure change request list. This workflow assigns action items and collects feedback from users. In order to do this, sharepoint designer added ~10 new content types to thetask lists.
This tasklist i want the duedate and priority fields to be updated. So I created a secondary workflow.
Now when I want to create a secondary workflow that can manually or automatically started it is not available for the content types that were added by sharepoint designer.
I manually add a task to the list with the default content type, the workflow shows up as being available. If I select any of the added content typem the workflow is not associated.
I used this article an a theoratical example: article ID: 6b77ffd5-9ad6-4c20-b5a4-d686e2deafc2
. So this article doesn't work. As soon a a secondary content type is added. THe workflow is not available.
a) I have tried to edit the the <association><contenttypes>.... in the ...xoml.wfconfig.xml file.
Any suggestions welcome.
