SharePoint 2010 List to populate Form Library template

I have several SharePoint 2010 Lists -- is there a way to transfer the data into a Form Library template?  I attempted to create another data connection to submit to a sharepoint form library but it didnt populate the existing template, just saved the list form into my form library. 

I only want to data from the List to be transferred and populate the existing form library template.

I tried searching online, and mostly found how to convert/transfer Form Library data to SharePoint List but not the other way around.
