Change default font of the rtf-editor

we would like to set/change a pre-defined font in the rtf-editor webpart.
However , it seems i can't find any information on how to accomplish this.
I want the default font to be: arial

i've been nosing around in the core.css and done some changing (especially on the rte parts) but this doesn't seem to have any impacht.

anyone ?
