I have a WF (created by SPD, no custom coding involved) that creates 6 parallel tasks to 6 assignees. On the task list, I also have a secondary WF that sends email reminders. When trying to complete some workflow taks, I still get this error:
I chose this workaround suggested by Lionel and XueMei to add "Pause for Duration" action as the first step of my secondary WF. Then at the beginning of each series of actions in the following steps, I also added "Pause for Duration" actions. I set the Pause for Duration = 1 second.
My question is, do I need to add this Pause for Duration literally before each action, including when I log in the history or assign a variable???
Does the Pause for Duration need to be at more than 1 second???
"This task is currently locked by a running workflow and cannot be edited"
I've been struggling to solve this issue for a longgg time but still get this stupid error. Sometimes a series of test completed with no problem, then I do another test and this error mesg appears again. This is soo frustrating! Can someone please help me here??I chose this workaround suggested by Lionel and XueMei to add "Pause for Duration" action as the first step of my secondary WF.
