I have an extremely simple work flow ( cut down for troubleshooting).
I have created a managed metadata column in a shared document library
I can edit a document and add the metadata value to the document and it displays in the managed metadata column.
However when trying to do this via a workflow(fires when new document added) it does not work.
It tells me the workflow was completed but no value is added to my column.
Workflow is
Set column name to ID;#term
I have also tried
Set column name to ID;#term|GUID
I retrieved the GUID from the hiddenlist in the IDforterm row.
I retrieved the term name from looking at it in data sheet view.
The column name is from a list of available fields (did not manually type the name in).
any help appreciated
