Use InfoPath form to submit Discussion content type

Using InfoPath 2013 on a SharePoint 2010 server

Is it possible to collect information via an infopath form which then submits a discussion content type to a list with columns associated to information from the form? Possibly submitting the form to one library then using a workflow to create a new discussion content type related to each new entry?
