Hi,
I was wondering if someone could please help me. I’ve been given the task of setting up a time sheet in work on office 365’s SharePoint 2010 foundation.
Requirements –
- Each employee can select a client they’ve been working with
- Each employee can enter how many hours they worked each day
- The office manager can view all employees’ times in a user-friendly manor.
I’ve done a bit of research and found –
- Microsoft offers a Timecard Management template in a .STP format
- There are still templates in SharePoint 2010 but they’re no longer .STP files but .WSP files.
- I found it was still possible to use Timecard by following this post - Link
SO! I followed the post and got the following –
I understand that underneath this view is a list storing the information. So I’ve tried adding a new column but it doesn’t appear on the page. I’m assuming some kind of design has to be changed to reflect the column on the view. Can someone please tell me how I can edit this view or design to remove the columns I don’t want and add the ones I do to the form.
Also from what I understand from this template only the one employee can see their time sheet. How will the office manager see everyone’s times?
Thanks in advance
