Automatically deleting workflow versioning files created with SharePoint Designer

Hi everyone,

Operating MOSS 2007 and using SharePoint Designer 2007. I have created a handful of workflows for my company with Designer and noticed that the previous versions of the workflows (especially .xoml.rules) are slowly but surely adding up. I have no versioning enabled on the tasks and document library where the workflow is attached by the way, and I know that each time a change is made to the workflow, a new version is added to this list. I notice that in SharePoint Designer you canRight Click --> Version History... to see a list of previous versions, which I have manually deleted out a few to clear up some space. Is there a way to automatically set a limit to 5 or 10, similar to setting limits in a document library? I created everything with SharePoint Designer so it seems a little more tricky.
