Issue with cascading dropdown in a repeating table

I'm using Infopath 2007 and not designing it for browser compatibility.

I've created a cascading drop down list that gets data from a sharepoint list. The cascading feature works fine. Now, I need to use this cascading feature into a repeating table/section. When I place the cascading dropdowns into a repeating table, it works fine for the first item. Any new item added, replaces the value in the other items. Can this be fixed?

I had used a Master-Detail section, which allows me to use cascading feature into a repeating table. But, my audience/users doesn't like the master-detail tables. It's not intuitive/confusing. So, I need to find a way to use cascading dropdown in a regular repeating table.

Didn't find any post in this forum regarding this and googling didn't help either. Anybody done this before?
