I'm using Sharepoint Designer 2007 trying to create a custom workflow on a document library. The customer is uploading documents and wants to set a due date for each one. I've created a due date column in the library set as a date content type. This is a static field. The date they enter won't change unless they want it to. I've also set another date field to default to the current date. This field will change as the date changes. The customer would like an alert email sent out one day prior to the due date to the parties involved with a particular document or library. I know this can be done in code but can it be done in a workflow? I know what I want but I can't seem to convert it to Microsoft logic. What I need is a workflow that says one day prior to whatever the due date is, send email. There is a Bamboo web part that does this but I haven't had much success with it. Any help is appreciated.
