Hi

I would like to add a custom action button along the top of the toolbar in editform.aspx but im cluless as to how to do it.

My form has a column called Daily Log (Type:Multiple Lines of Text) which is updated/edited manually whenever a change is made to the list item or an update log entry is required. These updates would occur frequently.

What I would like is a custom toolbar button at the top of the Edit Form that when clicked on would enable us to enter data into the Daily Log field/Column without having to scroll down the form each time to locate the Daily Log field and add lines of text.

Has anyone ever come across such a request or even point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Tim
