Sorting by XSLTListviewWebPart Totals

Hi!
I would like to know if there's a way to sort items by group totals?

Thats how it looks now:

But the problem is that (in this particular scenario) i can't use DVWP (XLVW only). I have already tried Marcs post (last one above) but i think it works only with DVWP :(
